After the August Board Meeting

Thursday afternoon was a fairly busy one for me and I did not have time to record an update.

I thought I could quickly give you the highlights from our meeting:

• We passed a final budget for the fiscal year 2011-2012
• We went over financial statements from July
• I gave a brief update about the Summer Reading Program

It was a great meeting, even with us just making a quorum (at least three board members must be present for votes to be taken).
